One Step Ahead: Nguyen Quoc Hy Leads
The penultimate rounds saw Quoc Hy defeat Australia’s FM Albert
Winkelman to claim the top spot. The new leader is closely trailed by
nine players, each with 4.5 points—including seasoned Grandmasters and
promising IMs. With such a narrow margin, the battle for the
championship remains wide open.
